Reviews and General Information on Garbage Disposals

Continuous Feed Garbage Disposals

Continuous feed garbage disposals are probably the most popular choice for many people, and the main reason for this is they save time. This type of disposer will start the motor the minute you turn on the power, and it won’t stop until you switch the power off.

What this means is if you have a busy kitchen, you can pop waste down your disposer as you work. This helps to keep a tidy kitchen that’s consistently free from things like fruit and vegetable peels.

There are safety features of course. If you happen to drop a metal object down your disposer, there are models that will immediately power off so it won’t cause any damage to the motor. These models are also equipped with reset buttons so interruption is kept to a minimum.
